I'm your host, chris Torres, and I'm here to keep you updated on all the great things happening here at the beach every weekend, so you always know what's going on. Thanks for listening. If you're new to the show, our segments include the Shoreline Scoop for local news, updates specific to the beach, community Currents, where we spotlight beach events. And Beach Bands, where I'll let you know about all the live music and entertainment here at Salisbury Beach. Plus, we'll give you the weekend weather forecast in our Shorecast Forecast and general beach conditions in the Tide Tracker Surf Report, with additional segments to come in future episodes. I'm excited to bring you all the highlights of Salisbury Beach and keep you informed as well as entertained. So let's get into it.

First up the Shoreline Scoop, the Sandlot Beach Bar is now open seven days a week from noon until 10 pm. Located on North End Boulevard next to Tens, this outdoor venue is a great place for food, drinks and live music. Check it out. The good folks at Vinnie's Beachside Cafe are taking a well-deserved vacation, so Vinnie's will be closed June 3rd through June 9th, reopening on Monday, june 10th. Groundswell Surf Cafe is now seating on the south side of the Surfside Deck. Have a drink or snack from Groundswell while enjoying a beautiful ocean view. Enter through the beachside gate and leash dogs are welcome. And that's the Shoreline Scoop for this week. Now on to Community Currents, where we bring you the latest happenings around Salisbury Beach.

Speaker 1:

Head on down to the Dolphin at Salisbury Beach on Tuesdays for 45s and Wednesdays for Musical Bingo, both at 6.30pm. The Dolphin also has Karaoke Friday and Saturday at 6pm and 1-4. To 4 30 pm on Sundays, right before musical bingo at 5. Follow the dolphin at Salisbury Beach on Facebook for more info. At Gracie's, join this. Ain't your mama's bingo musical bingo every Thursday night at 6 30 pm, along with 50 cent wings. The carousel bar and lounge features wired for sound karaoke with Joe and Linda every Saturday night from 8 30 to 12 30. Chris Michaels hosts karaoke every Wednesday from 6 30 to 9 30 pm at the Hideaway Pub and again at Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern on Saturday and Sunday from 3 30 to 7 30 pm. There's tons of karaoke going on this weekend, so if you're looking to sing, salisbury Beach is the place to do it.

And finally, salisbury Beach cleanup next Saturday. Join Groundswell Surf Cafe, the Salisbury Beach Betterment Association and more local businesses on June 15th as they get the beach cleaned up for the summer. Volunteers are always needed, so if you're free, come on down and lend a hand. The cleanup crew will meet at Groundswell Surf Cafe, located at 25 Broadway in Salisbury. Gloves and trash bags will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and community spirit. And now for Beach Bands, your source for live music events happening this weekend. We've got some fantastic acts lined up this weekend at Salisbury Beach, so let's get started At Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern on Saturday, june 8th, from 9 pm to 1230 am, catch Jimmy and the Bar Hoppers. These guys will be rocking out with some classic rock tunes. So if you're a fan of the good old classics, this is the place to be. Then on Sunday night, june 9th, from 8pm to 11pm, we have BAM on the Record. Steve Bam Brophy will be bringing his energetic vibe outside at Uncle Eddie's perfect for wrapping up your weekend At Gracie's Bar and Grill.

Gracie's is a spot for live music by the beach all season long, every Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 11. This Friday, june 7th, get ready for Boston Accents. Boston Accents is a rock and roll band focused on many of the classic rock artists as well as some newer ones. And on Saturday, june 8th, it's time for Dirty Floorboards playing rock tunes from the 60s until now and everything in between, and looking ahead to next weekend. On Friday, june 14th, acoustic Tandem, a high-energy acoustic duo, sometimes trio, that plays rock, country, pop, irish and reggae. And on Saturday, june 15th, two Minute Warning takes the stage with a unique blend of sound from Brand New, taking Back Sunday Blink-182, and Senses Fail Live music every Friday and Saturday all summer long at Gracie's At the Surfside, salisbury Beach.

On June 7th, the Friday Night Live featuring Party On. This band is one of the hottest new dance party bands around, playing all your favorite hits from the 70s to today, from 9 pm to midnight. Get ready to dance the night away. And on Saturday, june 8th, from 8 30 pm to 11 30, it's time for the Back to the 90s Party featuring DJ Coco P. Dust off your flannel and grab your neon, because DJ Coco P will be spinning all your favorite 90s tunes all night long. And next Friday, june 14th, it's Back to the 80s Night. This is the ultimate dance hits party, with tracks from Def Leppard, journey, michael Jackson and more. It's a blast from the past you won't want to miss. Looking ahead to next Saturday, june 14th, get ready to get nautical with Ahoy Sailor Yacht Rock DJ Party. Sailor attire is encouraged for this one, so come dressed to impress.

Every Tuesday night at Surfside mosey on down for Country on the beach, dj fred spins country music's top hits for a lively night of line dancing under the covered pavilion on the surfside deck. Line dancing lessons start at 7 pm with tunes until 10 pm. Admission is ten dollars. At blue ocean music hall on friday and saturday, june 7th and 8th, don't miss the fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk. These shows are going to be a fantastic tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time. Check blueoceanhallcom for tickets. And finally, at the Seaglass Thursday night live from 6 pm to 8 pm. Head to Seaglass for the Thursday night live series in the Bar and Lounge. Immerse yourself in the magic of intimate solo performances by hand-picked local musicians each week. Those are all the beach bands we have for now. So come out this weekend and hear some great live music at Salisbury Beach. Friday June 7th morning waves at one foot from the east. Afternoon waves increase to two and a half feet from the southeast. Evening waves stay at 2.5 feet from the southeast. On Saturday, june 8th, morning and afternoon waves at 1.5 feet from the southeast. In the evening waves rise to 3 feet from the southeast. Sunday, june 9th, morning and afternoon waves at 2.5 feet from the southeast and the evening waves drop to 1.5 feet from the southeast.
