I'm your host, chris Torres, and I'm here to keep you updated on all the great things happening here at the beach every weekend, so you always know what's going on. Thanks for listening. If you are new to the show, our segments include the Shoreline Scoop for local news affecting the beach. Community Currents, where we spotlight beach events, and beach bands, where I'll let you know about all the live music and entertainment here at Salisbury Beach. Plus, we'll give you the weekend weather forecast in our Shorecast forecast and surf conditions in the Tide Tracker Surf Report, with additional segments to come in future episodes. I'm excited to bring you all the highlights of Salisbury Beach and keep you informed as well as entertained. So let's get into it. First up, the Shoreline Scoop. Our top story the Salisbury Beach Partnership kicks off their Bands on the Beach in two weeks, starting Saturday, june 29th. Grab your chairs and blankets and enjoy some fun summer tunes, saturdays this summer at 7.30pm on the Salisbury Oceanfront Stage. Benches and picnic tables available and plenty of dancing room for everyone. Enjoy takeout from local restaurants, beach pizza, ice cream and more while you listen to live music from one of the region's hottest bands. Stick around until 10 15 pm to end the night with Salisbury Beachfront Fireworks Show. In other news, the Sandlot Beach Bar is now open 7 days a week, from noon until 10pm. Located on North End Boulevard next to 10's, this outdoor venue is a great place for food, drinks and live music. Come check it out. And the Groundswell Surf Cafe is now offering morning seating on the south side of the Surfside Deck. Grab a drink or snack from Groundswell while enjoying a beautiful ocean view. Enter through the beachside gate. Leash dogs are welcome. And that's the Shoreline Scoop for this week.

Now on to Community Currents, where we bring you the latest happenings around Salisbury Beach. Head on down to the Dolphin at Salisbury Beach on Tuesdays for 45s and Wednesdays for Musical Bingo, both at 6.30pm. Musical Bingo returns to the Dolphin on Sundays at 5pm. Follow the Dolphin at Salisbury Beach on Facebook for more information. And at Gracie's this Ain't your Mama's Bingo Musical Bingo every Thursday night at 6.30pm, along with 50 Cent Wings Karaoke on Salisbury Beach.

Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern. Karaoke with DJ Dougie Mac every Wednesday night this summer from 8 to 11 pm. The Hideaway Pub, chris Michaels, hosts karaoke every Wednesday from 6.30 to 9.30 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, june 15th and 16th, chris Michaels hosts karaoke at Uncle Eddie's from 3.30 to 7.30 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, june 15th and 16th, chris Michaels hosts karaoke at Uncle Eddie's from 3 30 to 7 30 pm. The Dolphin also has karaoke Friday and Saturday at 6 and 1 to 4 30 pm on Sunday, and at the Carousel Bar and Lounge, father's Day weekend karaoke hosted by Wired for Sound Karaoke with Joe and Linda on Saturday, june 15th, from 8.30 to 12.30, and again on Sunday, june 16th, from 4.30 to 9. Tons of karaoke going on, as always.

So if you're looking to sing this weekend, salisbury Beach is the place to do it. And finally, salisbury Beach cleanup this Saturday to do it. And finally, salisbury Beach Cleanup this Saturday. Join Groundswell Surf Cafe, the Salisbury Beach Betterment Association and more local businesses this weekend, june 15th, as they get the beach cleaned up for the summer. Volunteers are always needed to join the effort, so if you're free, come on down and lend a hand. The cleanup crew will meet at Groundswell Surf Cafe, located at 25 Broadway in Salisbury. Gloves and trash bags will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and community spirit, and if you know of something happening on the beach and want to get the word out, email us at salisburybeachbroadcast at gmailcom and we'll include it here. And now for this week's Beach Bands your source for all the live music events happening this weekend at Salisbury Beach. At the Dolphin at Salisbury Beach. Saturday, june 15th Derek and Dave duo with music from the 80s 90s, and today, dave duo with music from the 80s 90s. And today At Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern. Thursday, june 13th Black Cat Blues at 7 pm. This blues trio drags you from the swamps of Louisiana through the Texas plains and up the mighty Mississippi, past Memphis, to Chicago and many other musical places in between. Friday, june 14th Sturdy Moss performing a unique blend of blues, rock, soul and jam all over New England. Sturdy Moss music ranges from retro to progressive ballads to epic full rockers. Saturday, june 15th Straight Jacket Stuck in the 90s since 2017, saturday Night Live 90s cover band Straight Jacket will be rocking Uncle Eddie's At Gracie's Bar and Grill. Gracie's is proud to present live music by the beach all season long on Friday and Saturday, from 8 to 11.

On Friday, june 14th, acoustic Tandem, a high-energy acoustic duo that plays rock, country, pop, irish and reggae. On Saturday, june 15th, 2 Minute Warning this pop-punk band from Worcester, 2 Minute Warning, has a unique blend of sound from Brand New, taking Back. Sunday, blink-182, and Senses Fail. And on Friday, june 21st, 3 Fat Cats, a three-piece rock trio of the highest caliber playing all your favorites from today and yester years. And on Saturday, june 22nd, barrel house Brotherhood at the hideaway pub. On Saturday, june 15th, bob Trelli classic rock to the hits of today at 7 pm at Surfside, salisbury Beach.

Friday Night Live on June 14th back to the 80s. Back to the 80s plays ultimate dance hits from artists such as Def Leppard, journey, michael Jackson, heart Whitesnake, madonna, poison and Pat Benatar. Every song is an instant recognizable hit, guaranteed to get audiences on their feet dancing, from the birth of New Waved and the dominance of synth pop to the ragged edge of hair bands. Back to the 80s covers it all. And on Friday, june 21st, inside Out. Inside Out is a top 40 dance cover band that has been entertaining crowds across New England since 2010 by pumping out a non-stop stream of today's high energy dance hits. Nobody does it better than Inside Out.

Surfside has themed DJ parties every Saturday of the summer from 830 to 1130 pm, no cover charge. Get nautical on Saturday, june 15th with Ahoy Sailor Yacht Rock DJ party. Round up your crew and come aboard Surfside's oceanfront deck with DJ Coco P Sailor. Attire is encouraged. And on Saturday, june 22nd, the Neon Summer Party. Wear your best and brightest and get ready to highlight the night on Surfside's expansive oceanfront deck with the hottest neon summer party on the seacoast. Dj NMC will be cranking out summer hits, guaranteeing a glowing good time.

And if you're looking for country music, kick up your heels and have fun. Every Tuesday night at Surfside with Country on the Beach, dj Fred spins country music's top hits for a lively night of line dancing under a covered pavilion on the Surfside deck. Line dancing lessons offered at 7 pm, tunes until 10, admission $10. At Blue Ocean Music Hall Friday, june 14th, jackson Dean old-school, gritty, lyric-driven, outlaw style of country with opener John Hollier. And on Saturday, june 15th Hollywood Nights.

Hollywood Nights the Bob Seger experience is the ultimate tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. They are a nine-piece band based in New Jersey who continues to strive to recreate everything about Bob Seger and his music, down to the core. If you're a true fan of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, you won't want to miss Hollywood Nights. Thursday, june 20th Bruce in the USA Bruce in the USA is much more than another tribute. This high-energy musical experience is a note-perfect and visually accurate recreation of a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band show. And Friday, june 21st Adam Ezra Group. Here's what you can expect for the upcoming weekend from Thursday June 13th through Sunday June 15th. On Thursday expect sunny weather with a high near 84 degrees. Perfect weather for the beach. Thursday night is partly cloudy with a low around 65. Friday brings an 80 chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high again near 84. Not looking like a good beach day. Unfortunately, friday evening has more showers and thunderstorms before 10 pm mostly cloudy with a low around 60. Saturday is sunny with a high near 71 degrees. Saturday night mostly clear with a low around 51. And on Sunday sunny with a high near 72. Then partly cloudy skies in the evening with a low around 56. Be sure to plan your beach activities accordingly and check other news sources for weather if conditions change. And that's your Shorecast forecast for Salisbury Beach this weekend. On Thursday, june 13th, in the morning waves will be at 2 feet from the southeast, with a light east-northeast wind at 5 mph. Conditions will be onshore High tide at 512 am at 8 feet. Thursday afternoon waves remain at 2 feet from the southeast with a west-northwest wind at 5 mph, creating cross-offshore conditions. High tide at 5.52 pm 7.5 feet. On Friday, june 14th in the morning, expect waves 2 feet from the southeast with a light west wind at 5 mph, creating cross-offshore conditions. High tide 6.05 am at 7.6 feet. And on Friday afternoon waves increased slightly to 2.5 feet from the southeast with a northwest wind at five miles per hour, keeping onshore conditions. High tide 6.41 pm at 7.5 feet.
