I'm excited, as always, to bring you all the highlights of Salisbury Beach. So let's get into it. First up, the Shoreline Scoop, where we bring you the latest news affecting Salisbury Beach. The Salisbury Beach Citizens for Change will be holding their 2024 informational meeting on Tuesday, august 20th, at 6.30. At the Blue Ocean Music Hall. The organization's stated goal is to improve the quality of life for Salisbury Beach property owners as well as visitors. Executive Board President Tom Saab says the group has been working with state legislators to ensure that Salisbury receives funding for the necessary dune restoration. Work has begun in some areas along Salisbury shoreline and will continue into the fall. And now for this week's Beach Bands your ultimate guide to all the live music and entertainment happening at Salisbury Beach this weekend. We've got a fantastic lineup over the next couple of days, so get ready to mark your calendars. On Thursday, july 25th, the Sandlot Beach Bar has Derek and Dave playing music from the 80s, 90s and today, from 5.30 to 8.30 pm. At Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern, tim Murray One man Band performs from 8 to 11-ish pm, marking an end to the four-day work week. And at Blue Ocean Music Hall, the Gavin Marenghi Band performs at 8 pm. Gavin Marenghi is a singer-songwriter from Salisbury, massachusetts, and has been captivating audiences wherever he performs, leaving them spellbound by his impressive guitar skills and soulful, raspy voice. On Friday, july 26th, uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern has Redline delivering high-energy rock and roll, starting at 9 pm Over at the Sandlot Beach Bar. Dj Natola from 6.30 to 9.30 pm At the Dolphin at Salisbury Beach. Charlie and the Hustle performs at 7pm with a fun mix of covers and originals to take you into the weekend. The Carousel Lounge has Rhythm Incorporated at 9pm, rooted in reggae, funk and hip hop. At Gracie's Bar and Grill, 3 Fat Cats from 8-11pm delivering all your favorites from today and yesteryears. The Hideaway Pub has the Jamokes with special guest Johnny Bongos on the Sun Cruiser stage starting at 8pm, and at Surfside the Back to the 80s party at 9pm. Dive into 80s nostalgia with Surfside's Ultimate Dance Party.

On Saturday, july 27th, the Salisbury Beach Partnership Bands on the Beach series welcomes the B Street Bombers to the Oceanfront Stage at 7.30 pm. The B Street Bombers bring high-energy R&B, rock, soul and funk. Stick around for the Salisbury Beach Fireworks Show at 10.15 pm. The Sandlot Beach Bar has DJ Aziz from 6.30 to 9.30 pm At Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern. Biker band Downcella hits the stage at 9 pm. At Gracie's Bar and Grill, rock junkies from 8 to 11 pm playing your favorite rock and dance music from the 70s to now. The Carousel Lounge has Chase Stebbins and the Only Known at 9 pm bringing hip-hop music to the stage At the Hideaway Pub, tim Murray one-man band at 8 pm and at Surfside.

Don't miss the Fins Up Shark Week DJ Beach Party featuring DJ Coco P, from 8 30 to 11 30 pm. Dare to dance the night away, just feet above the ocean's edge on Surfside's expansive oceanfront deck. Dj Coco P will be spinning all your favorite summer hits, all night long Theme parties every Saturday of the summer from 8 3030 to 11.30 pm. On Sunday, july 28th, the Sandlot Beach Bar features Craig LaGrassa from 4 to 7 pm and Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern has the drumming mastery of Bam on the Record outside on the beach at 7 pm. Those are all the beach bands we have for now.

Come out this weekend to hear some great live music at Salisbury Beach. And now for what's happening always on the beach. Head on down to the Dolphin at Salisbury Beach on Tuesdays for 45s and Wednesday for Musical Bingo, both at 6.30 pm. Musical Bingo returns to the Dolphin on Sundays from 6 pm to 9. Gracie's has it every Thursday night at 6.30pm along with 50 cent wings. The Sandlot Beach Bar is now open Wednesday through Friday, 3-10pm and noon to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Located on North End Boulevard next to 10's, this outdoor venue is a great place for food, drinks and live music. If you haven't had the chance to check out this newest addition to Salisbury's entertainment landscape, now is the perfect time, and the Groundswell Surf Cafe is now offering morning seating on the south side of the Surfside Deck. Grab a drink or snack from Groundswell while enjoying a beautiful ocean view. Enter through the beachside gate. Leash dogs are welcome. Vinny's Beachside Cafe has posted their summer hours. Located at 183 North End Boulevard, vinny's will be open from 7 am to 1 pm on Monday, wednesday and Thursday, closed on Tuesdays and open 7 am to 2 pm on Friday, saturday and Sunday. Vinnies is a great place to have breakfast or lunch and it's not very far from the center, so definitely check them out. Tuesdays are for everyone at Salisbury Beach.

Each Tuesday, the Salisbury Parks and Recreation Youth Empowerment Team puts together a fantastic lineup of family-friendly activities that are sure to delight visitors of all ages. Every Tuesday starts with a story hour featuring Maple, the Therapy Dog, from 10 to 11 am, then from 11 to noon. Enjoy a variety of special events. On July 23rd, meet and greet adorable animals at the Legacy Lane Petting Zoo. On July 30th, omcom. On August 6th, don't miss a canine demonstration. And on August 13th, the Legacy Lane Petting Zoo returns. And finally, on August 20th, mad Science Enjoy historic carousel rides from noon to 1pm and end the day with a sunset movie at 8pm. On July 23rd, the timeless classic ET. On July 30th, ferris Bueller's Day Off. On August 6th, minion Rise of Groove. August 13th, wonka. And August 20th, little Mermaid Live Action. Every Tuesday night at Surfside mosey on down for Country on the Beach, dj Fred spins country music's top hits for a lively night of line dancing under the covered pavilion on the Surfside deck. Line dancing lessons start at 7 pm with tunes until 10 pm. Admission $10. The Christian Concert Series takes the oceanfront stage every Wednesday from 6 45 to 9 pm. Enjoy a great family atmosphere with a rotating list of Christian musical acts from a variety of area churches. For the list of performers up until August 21st check the show notes. Catch Beachy Tunes every Thursday night at golden hour with Surfside's new Sun and Set series. Let premier local musicians serenade you over tropical cocktails and an ocean breeze from 6 to 8 pm. Friday nights all summer long. Don't miss Family Fun starting at 7.15pm on the Salisbury Beach stage. It's a full night of fun. Summer tunes with DJ Ralphie B and today's hits hosted by DJ Jeff B. Leading kid-friendly activities hula hooping, bubble fun, dancing and more. And don't miss the timeless fun of the Salisbury Beach Carousel. This historic carousel is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 9 pm, fridays and Saturdays from noon to 10 pm and Sundays from noon to 9 pm. It's a fantastic way to enjoy a piece of Salisbury Beach history while creating new memories with your family.

Salisbury Beach is the place for karaoke. This summer, uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern has karaoke with DJ Dougie Mac every Wednesday night from 8 to 11 pm. At the Hideaway Pub, chris Michaels hosts karaoke every Wednesday from 6 30 to 9 30 pm. The Dolphin at Salisbury Beach also has karaoke Friday and Saturday at 6 pm with DJ Tony B when there isn't a live band, and 1 to 4 30 pm on Sunday. At Uncle Eddie's, on Saturday and Sunday, karaoke with Chris Michaels or Mark Martin from 3 30 to 7 30 pm. And last but certainly not least, at the Carousel Bar and Lounge, wired for Sound, karaoke with Joe and Linda on Saturday and Sunday from 4.30 to 9 pm. The Carousel is my favorite local venue for karaoke, with their dedicated karaoke stage, and Joe and Linda do an amazing job running the show. Each and every week.
